There is famous Durgiana Mandir also. And try Amritsari Naan and Kulchas apart from lots of non-veg varieties if you consume. Yes, Amritsari Wadiyaan are special and most people carry them home too. If you also plan to visit Patiala, do carry Patiala Jutti, Patiala Suits and Salwaars, Patiala Parandi, and above all, the great Patiala Peg :) Google Maps : click here
There's a Science City almost 75 kms away from Amritsar. Takes almost full day, but very enjoyable place to visit, went there 2 times, enjoyed thoroughly.
according to me you should always visit golden temple & wagah border

by visiting golden temple u will get blessing from "wai guru" which is a god like lord Krishna,lord vishnu, jesus christ, allah etc. and also u will get free food from langar (but only veg)
