We book ticket from A to B, where A & B are major stations with boarding at C (small station).
Which case has chances of more confirmations of WL/RAC tickets- journey A to B or journey C to B.

Always A to B has better chances..Also if you change Boarding point to C with booking point as A, same quota of A will carry over to C, so chances of conformation is same as A.
