Maoist Affected Areas do not exert High Speeds. RB/NHRC has strictly mandated Low Speeds in all the Ranchi/Purulia/Adra Proximity due to one another reason which is Mining. The Volume of Land is Negligible Below the tracks and its mostly Hollow. With an MPS of 60 kmph an average of 30-40 is very much impressive !! SER has 90% Naxalite Prone Areas in it and Still Somehow has managed Such Loads till date. These Areas are so deadly that After Accidents Like Gyaneshwari ,RB was Forced to Stop any Railway Movement During Night !! Bottom Line is In Whole SER Zone only 115 km stretch of HWH KGP is Termed as Safe just because of its Suburban Nature !
