Observations at Pune : Sunday, 09-12-2007 : 17:20 to 18:05 hrs (Evening Observations at GIT - Ghorpuri Yard)
1) 1621 Pune-Satara Passenger moved towards Satara with green PUNE WDM2 # 17938.
2) Yellow PUNE WDS6 # 36006 shunter was busy shunting goods wagons in GIT yard.

A good train with twin Kalyan WCG2 locos was ready in the yard to proceed towards Pune/Lonavala. The leading loco (towards Mumbai direction) was KYN WCG2 20128 and trailing loco was KYN WCG2 # 20144.
4) 1077 Pune-Jammutawi Jhelum Exp moved towards Daund with orange PUNE WDG3A # 13044 Shakti loco.
5) Twin diesel locos brought a goods rake from deep inside areas of GIT yard. The leading loco (towards Mumbai direction) was orange PUNE WDG3A # 14676 and trailing loco was KYN WDM2 # 18041. Soon, this twin locos got detached from goods train and further, the locos were separated. Kalyan WDM2 18041 was then waiting in GIT (for next duty) and PUNE WDG3A went inside PUNE diesel loco shed.
6) Late running 2780 Nizamuddin-Vasco Goa Superfast Exp moved towards Miraj with orange PUNE WDG3A # 14886.
7) Orange PUNE WDG3A # 13355 Shakti moved from loco shed to Pune. This will mostly haul 2129 Pune-HWH Azad Hind Exp.
8) 2157 Pune-Solapur Hutatma Exp speeded towards Daund with blue/white ED WDM2 # 16480.
9) Green PUNE WDM2 # 17444 moved from loco shed towards Pune. This will mostly haul 1547 Pune-Baramati Passenger.
10) Skyblue/yellow KZJ WDM3A # 18893 came from loco shed and got refuelled and was waiting in GIT yard.

Morning observations at Pune on Tuesday, 09-Dec-2008, from 07:20 to 07:30 hrs!
1) 1553 Pune-Daund Passenger departed with blue PUNE WDM2 # 17616.
2) 1024 Kolhapur-Mumbai Sahyadri Exp departed from PF2 with KYN WCG2 loco. S8 sleeper coach of Sahyadri Exp was

as # NR # 96259 # DLI Div Mail/Exp coach! Last bogey was # CR # 92156 Haywards ICE Coach (locked).
3) Blue GTL WDM2A # 16752 parked therake of outgoing 2126 Pune-Mumbai Pragati Exp on PF1. Pragati Exp also
had 1 coach of ICE (intercity exp).
4) Empty rake of 2130 Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Exp was on PF3 and empty rake of 1550 Solapur-Pune Passenger
was on PF4.
5) Pit line near PF6 had orange PUNE WDG3A # 14814 (ready to move out) and blue PUNE WDM2 # 17237 (at dead
end of pit line).
6) Electric trip shed had 2 BL WCAM1 locos, 1 KYN WCAM3 loco clearly visible from outside. One or 2 more
locos may be deep inside ETS.
7) There was no announcement of 0829 Pune-Howrah Winter Special Exp. Actually, every Tuesday at 00:30 hrs,
0830 Howrah-Pune Special comes here and the same rake then goes back at 09:00 hrs as 0829 Pune-Howrah Spl!
