yesday....cocanada/12775 arrived @pf 1, later after 10 mins Godavari/12727 exp arrived @pf 2 at rajahmundry stn(as I was waiting for goutami exp)....after 10mins both cocanada & Godavari left their pfs respectively at a time....is there any another route towards kovvur rly stn from rjy....

One can b controlled while other carry on, as per clearance!!
Its NT unusual to find dual dep @ same time @ big junctions...this also confirms that for certain stretch, the junction havnt defined its Track dedicated as UP/DN & if available, can utilize bth for the time been!!

Godavari might have gone through the GODAVARI station and Cocanada might have gone via RoadcumRail bridge which is a little longer than the straight one via godavari station.. most likely 12727 might have crossed Kovvur much before 12775 reached Kovvur... it is practically possible..
but while going in 18310(when abt to reach rjy stn)
I observed that there is no second route from Godavari stn towards kovvur....no track on rail bridge

it is a single track only... but when any train from RJY goes via Godavari station.. the line will be blocked from Kovvur side...
I got u. u r confused with the old havelock bridge which is abandoned now. when entering rjy from bza side trains come through arc bridge and u can find this havlock bridge adjacent which dsnt have any track. trains going to bza side generally take road cum rail bridge which is little away from arc bridge (on the same side to which the abandoned bridge lies) and u can see clearly on broad day light
