Regardless, what got really into this site was it's simple, lucid style and the amount of information it provided.
I still remember my first query. It was about the legendary coromondel express. I wanted it's departure timings. Instead I got it's coach composition, it's loco link, average delay en-route and Pantry information. The rest is history and I have hooked in ever since.
Infact for me this site was de-facto railway site. I didn't realise that this site was a private site well until incidently 18/12/2013.
Until then I thought that this site was officially associated with the Indian Railways, and the members were railway employees.
(Yes, it seems kinda silly now but it is true).
The second it dawned upon me that it is a private site for rail-lovers, I hopped in and it has been a joyride ever since then.
Learned a lot about IR from here, but most importantly made some very good friends here. We may not ever see each other in real life, but in here, by virtue of this platform we all can bare our hearts about our profound love of railways, to fellow ferroequinologists.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the Moderator for providing us this wonderful platform. At the same time I would also thank all the members who have always stood by me, helped me out with any problems, engaged in some amazing technical discussions and so on.
At the same time I would also like to apologise to anyone who might have had been hurt by my comments.
