15 kmph from a locomotive weighing 123 tonnes, that is a lot of brute force,
Say the starting acceleration of the locomotive at about 1m/s (That is a low estimate)
The loco stills hit the buffer with a 123 Kilo Newton.....that is a humoungous amount of power, that is much higher force than ultra high speed car crashes...........What chance did the poor platform of MAS have here?
