Rajdhani aur Shatabdi pe hi hota h mostly badhiya wali chizze, abi tk mere khayal se shuru nhi hua h
If through IRCTC, we can get the SMS again, if unknowingly message got deleted. But how are the planning to do the same for PRS ticket.
There is no guaranty that, a person will be keeping 4 month old sms in phone(considering he booked on ARP)

Nice point!! May be booking id will be sent through email id so it can be shown on PRS to get sms again!! or PRS will automatically send the message once again 4hrs before the time of journey!!!
Its very challenging task. As in my case my phones battery gets too low after long journey. People will have to worry about that then.
Sir, it is the same situation as the one who is traveling with E-ticket(Have SMS but not having the printed ticket).
If PRS are about to discontinue Papers then it is the only way!!
What else can be done is just attach their PNR with their Adhaar or ID card!! and the checker standing at station to check the ticket of deboarding Passenger must having a device to check that is ticket linked to that adhaar no or not!! in that case peoples have to carry Adhaar letters only!! :)
