After being 1.08 hrs late in its inaugural run.The mighty wap7 pulled the legendary Mahamana Express 3 minutes earlier at Lucknow....which means bsb-lko via sltnpur is completed in 4.09 hrs....So, mahamana express can easily reduce its travelling time by 50 minutes from original time.
This is exactly what I said in an earlier post - 5 hrs. 15 mts. for BSB-SLN-LKO is definitely on the high side for a train that would most probably receive good priority in this section.
Speeding up is only required in bsb- lko section... Which could be possible bcoz it is not over saturated stretch.... And leave the lko-mb-gzb time table untouched..
I think it would be the second most important train on this route...after dibrugarh rajdhani...and entire bsb-sltnpr-lko stretch comes under northern railway.... So,it will be an ice cake for nr train to maintain the timetable...
