Patiala Station is now equipped with latest Coach Guidance System, which shall display the location of each coach on a Platform. It has been installed on PF 1, 2 and 3. Alongwith CGS, you'll get to hear the new announcement system with updated female voice.

Thos days are near :) !! its getting closer !! RVNL has already started working for this section, they are doing modification to the power lines etc. Its kinda pre-OHE works, they are also working in tandem with PSPCL for removal / relocation of overhead power lines crossing the track including 11k and 33k lines. The old BSNL lines have also been converted into 6-Quad Cable, which are running along the track on poles, this is also been done to avoid distortion to the communication lines with 25Kv OHE. This cable atlas reached PTA from DUI side two days back with a team of 6 trenchers and a supervisor , who were bringing this cable from Dhuri to PTA, trenching and laying it.
