I am only bothered by the fuel consumption that could have been avoided!
I don't have any reservations against D-locos, infact my favourite loco is the WDM-2 FYKI!

if electric loco used then it will also consume electricity
electricity is also generated while causing pollution... electricity generation also consumes fuel..
so pullution factor is same in both ..
also there is no written rule that d loco cant be used in e route.

NER ne proposal bheja hai Eloco Shed ka agar approval mil gaya to Jaldi NR ki akar thikane aur isko GKP WAP7 mil jayega par tab tak patience rakhna parega :D
Only DD and Shramjeevi are left to be shifted to electric link.. Baki sab train jinko dena tha usko scheduled time me hi mil gaya.. SJ ko bhi 15th feb se eloco milega.
