WAP 5 and WAP 7 are hardly different. bas tractive power and load hauling ka difference hai. Then AJNI WAP 7 toh bhare pade hain. WAP 7 bahut hain AJNI shed mein and BSL shed mein WAP 4. Kaam Bahut sahi chal jata hai. WAP 5 majority WR route and NCR route mein chalta hai.

Total count of 3 phaser locos is very less as of now compared to Wap4. Usme bhi wap 7 jyada quantity mein hai as compared to wap 5.
thats why wap 4 are present in more quantity and with nearly all E loco sheds but Wap 5 sirf do ke pass hai.
