Train delayed by 2 hrs or 1 hr , its no difference.
And only one single train is never a reason.
many more factors also play a major role, like Passing Clearance through heavily congested ALD and Pf availability at CNB.

Yes to some extent but all the factors dont matter when you have priority at your hand.
12275 avoids Mgs-ALD delay and CNB bypass (30 mins total) but it OT anyone that falls in its radar. so covers CNB-DLI in 5 hours
The same priority is missing in this one's case as it simply so it takes 6-6.5 hours for same journey

And thats because 12275 is a overnight train starting from ALD with technical halt at TDL. Whereas 12281 is a long journey train having technical halts at MGS & CNB.
MGS & CNB are given for Guard change and Loco Pilot change in 12281.
That why it doesn't halts at ALD or TDL.
But 12275 starts from ALD itself and CNB would be...
