MontyJay~ 2614 blog postsYeh desh ki sabse bekar Rajdhani..UMB&JRC halt Siya hi nhi KTHU & PTKC dono select krr liye...Rajdhani Jaisi speed Bilkul nhi h...Isla travelling time by 30min in up n 40 min in down journey me kam kiya ha sakta hai, with 2new halts JRC n UMB ...LDH me bhi 5min theek h train can be further speeded up...

Monty Ji... all trains between New Delhi and Amritsar stop at Jalandhar City Jn and apart from JAT bound Rajdhani and Duronto, all other Jammu bound trains from New Delhi stop at Jalandhar Cantt Jn so why worry? JRC demand will always ignite UMB demand and the list will just keep increasing. So why open a Pandora's box? ;-)
Hmmm...JRC demand will ignite UMB....and JRC n UMB are ignited as no commercial halt at JRC n UMB,included in top 100 most booked stations.Jalandhar holds largest numbers of high class people , universities, hostels, head camps OF ITBP,BSF,CRPF ,Largest number of businessmen and 9 richest city of Bharat....and the lesser important cities KTHU and PTKC are considered. ...so people of Jalandhar hv patiently waited for 21 years...now they are not gonna wait much...
This train is for Jammu and Kashmir connectivity. Not for Jalandhar.
Jalandhar ke liye daily 2 shatabdis hain.
Rajdhani ka agar halt dia bhi toh bahut awkward time pe arrival hoga at JRC which is of no use. And UMB is a total unnecessary demand. Plus isko jaan bhojke thoda slacked rakha gaya hai , so that perfect arrival departure ho. Train aisa hai ki Chado, Dinner karo and go to sleep. Then wake up and alight. Agar speed up hua toh awkward time pe arrival hoga destination pe. And agar late depart...
