railway stations jalane ke bajay mantriyon ke car se petrol wagera chori karein toh shayad mil jaaye halts! :P Aakhir, taxpayers ke paise se hi toh bharte hain woh petrol/diesel lol ;)

or halt milega ye new time table jo aayega usme railway halt dega kuch trains ka rma par

Let the patronage decide it bro , if there Is no patronage then SR can cancel it. It's a temporary halt right , ? Trains are running to serve people , not for pride or prestige. Even BCT rajdhani wasn't spared in that aspect. If it helps passengers then there Is no harm.

But do the railways remove halts which are introduced as temporary even if they are not profitable? In my experience temporary halts always become permanent. I'd like to know if there has been any instance when temporary halts were removed.

Avadi was removed for yercaud ,
Buddireddipatti was removed for west coast ,
Tulakapatti was removed for MYS TN exp ,
Dindigul was removed for Himsagar ( one way )
