I travelled in 12003 and 12004 Delhi-Lucknow Shatabdi express recently (15 Feb and 19 Feb 2016). While travelling I observed that the train jerked a lot when it was speeding. It spilled my tea on my clothes. One lady fell on floor!! Looks like there is problem in the engine or the way it is operated. Why the journey in this prestigious train cannot be smooth. Any idea from the fellow members? Is this technical fault beyond the control of Indian Railways?

I recently travelled in 12004 and I didn't felt any jerk.. The train had smooth run.. Although coaches(some of them) were very old. Loco was p5.

The one with buffer is SLR Coach whch has to keep sync with Loco buffer...
Dunno where the buffer exist in CBC...bt surely its no match to full fledged buffer!!
