Thanks god LKO-CNB wasnt termed Loop (as per ur earlier definition, it shld b loop rather thn branch)!!
MGS-CNB-NDLS & MGS-BSB-SRE..whch is main & trunk out of these both?? As either these bth are trunk & main line..as per ur remark!!
To tag BSB-PBH-LKO as trunk invites attention to get comment...wasnt aware ur remarks are casual & worth ignore!!

Didn't understand d point in thanking God for it.
Let's not mix everything making it a kichdi.
.
Back to point. Lko-cnb is perhaps no more a branch. As per my understanding it can't b called as loop in any way.

The example was to highlight as hw IR defined one line as loop while other many same type correctly as branch!!
As per my understanding, if a track branches off to join the particular track again later on, irrespective of distance can be termed as Loop while if its branch off, not to join again is a branch!!
In all, BSB-PBH-LKO isn't a trunk, which initiated my reply!!
