MontyJay~ 2614 blog postsIss train ki priority ASR shatabdis se bhi zyada hai....pr speed boht kamm krr di hai....it shud cover Jammu to Delhi in 8:40 hrs in dn jouney and 8:30hrs in up journey its feasible... Halt KTHU&PTKC mein diya hai.... jalandhar and ambala 2 stations jo ki top 100most booked me aatey aa unhey nhi...Jalandhar me toh largest number of universities hain or largest number of businussmen base camp of CRPF,ITBP,BSF jo ki 21years se chilla rahey hain prr koi sunta hi nhi....Train Ambala aur Jalandhar cantt jaroor rukni chahiye....bhai Rajdhani gets highest priority on IR network.... Ya toh iske stoppages PTKC aur KTHU me bhi na dete....OHE engineer said k Jalandhar aur Ambala boht important stations hain ...KTHU and PTKC nhi h utney aur iss train ka timetable bhi slow hai....plz dont disagree without any reason...

Rajdhani and Shatabdi are of same priority. Both are equal.
And your Rajdhani overtook Shatabdi because it was running on time whereas the shatabdi was running late. And in our country , the delayed train is further delayed to give way to the on time running train. That doesn't means the priority gets unequal.
Both trains are of same priority , and their motive is different.
