can I upgrade my E Ticket on board, ie if I have confirmed 3A ticket, and want to upgrade to 2A in the train by paying the fare difference, I was told by one TTE That only Tickets purchased from Window can be upgraded in train and not E tickets, pls advice thanks
your ticket can be upgraded to the upper class manually by paying the difference amount if the seats are available in the upper class.
Yes, u can upgrade regarding if seats r available by paying the fare difference.
