NFR is running this special from nearly 2 years. And that too without enough AC coaches or SL coaches, Plus there's no General coaches at all (Forget about SLR as you can't even board it from Pune itself if you not on time).
Still NFR or CR , none of them is serious about any regular train for Northeast people who are living in VERY HUGE quantity in Pune and adjoining places (Go once to magarpatta or Koregaon Park or Hinjewadi). If demand is raised , then reply comes...

yep..thats right....already NFR is blacklisted for Slow schedule , Unnecessary Slacks in TT, and Poor maintenance of its regular trains ,and ab upar se ye sab awkward plannings of Special Trains....NFR is the only zone from whose you cannot expect "NORMAL" things. Only "Out of the League" things come out of the minds of NFR officials. ;)
Nailed it bro! Needless to say NFR is least bothered about its trains. This train should have been regularized long back with proper TT as well as CC, considering null connectivity between Pune and North East. Log bol bol ke thak jayenge..NFR sote sote nahi thakega
Not only NFR , But CR is also very ignorant towards the north eastern states people's demand who are living in Pune. They either have to go Mumbai for catching any Northeast train or have to interchange from Kolkata.
Very old demand still pending and there is no proper connectivity between NFR and CR. Only holiday specials and weekly biweekly trains are there with huge rush.
