Chennai Metro Rail work is in progress once completed u can take Metro rial to reach Koyambedu(Chennai Main bus stand for local as well as to other parts of districts in Tamilnadu as well as to other states mainly to kerala, Karanataka, Andhra, Telangana) also to Airport(one interchange at Alandur station) , Chennai Egmore (most express/passenger trains starting place to interior parts of Tamilnadu like Madurai, Kanniyakumari, Rameswaram, Velakanni).
All can be reached by Metro rail itself. As of now work is progressing well by the end of the year we can see trail run and likely by next year it might open for public. Beauty is it will be underground as well as elevated. Chennai Central Metro...
