The most rejected section. Considered fit only for coal movement nothing else.
Nothing new brother. But this what is the target they have set to decongest this line to enable IR to introduce more passengers services.
In the PR it is also written that " Provision of doubling between Katni-Singrauli section would provide the necessary line capacity for introduction of additional mail/express and passenger trains to serve the people of the area and transportation of coal from collieries. This will also boost overall development of the region. "
Garhwa road - renukut - chopan - singrauli - katni will be doubled in 5 years according to Press release .
