This train goes upto Silchar while coming from Delhi but shortens it routes to starting from Guwahati while going towards Delhi. Why this strange behaviour?It doesn't have any RSA; so the rakes must be going upto Silchar, why not start it from Silchar in the other direction as well.

The run from GHY is triweekly while it runs on only one day from Silchar. Thats why they have two train numbers.

It runs "upto" Silchar 4 days a week but runs "from" Silchar only 1 day a week. That's what I am surprised about.
