This concept comes with swara and vyanjan .. When we write pa, pha, a will be there as supportive voice. Same here jlndhr cant be written..j a,, la,, ha,, a is supportive voice..we cant ignore. We have 11 spportive voices a,,aa,,e,,ei,,u,,oo,,etc. So u pronounce it right jlndhr...but write jalandhar. I hope ul understand dear bro.

Yeah bro... I understood but concept arrised here few years ago that it was named on Jalandhar with whom Shivji had fight he was जलंधर not जालंधर । same sons of lord Ram named it as जलन्धर not जालंधर। same its the place btw two rivers beas and satluj so जल अंदर मतलब जलन्धर again not जालन्धर भाईं। it jalandhar not jaalandhar.... Thats what i was saying

Its written correct every where here on this site... Spellings of Punjabi english were correct as Jalandhar was written but in hindi जालंधर was written at almost every place that i got corrected....
