It might be some Technical Problems in Train or Rake. Or some Crossing.
X/O for 12423, in case both run approximately on-time..like 2day, bth crossed the station near by same time & in such case, RQJ gonna accomplish X/O honor, while 12236 will kept idle to accomplish the task!!
Yes maybe for Xing, because 12235 doesn't have stoppage at Raninagar Jalpaiguri.
