actually Poorva is an old train .. introduced as 1st AC Super Deluxe Exp even Rajdhani Exp (if u know HWH Rajdhani was the 1st Rajdhani Exp) doesn't had the luxury of the latest technology of Air Conditioning system and IR Rajdhani me ICE Cubes n Khas ke parde use karta tha (AFAIK) those days Poorva ke baad sirf HWH Rajdhani hi thi.. 16:00IST pe Poorva n 17:00IST pe Rajdhani..
later on more Rajdhanis got introduced like SDAH Rajdhani.. BBS Rajdhani.. Patna Rajdhani even Garib Rath ... so due to mps difference OT justified tha..

2002 Sampporna Kranti has been introduced as 2393 UP n 2394 Down.. there was no OT by Sampoorna Kranti till Nov 2005.. Sampoorna Kranti's departure was 18:20 from NDLS and arrival was 08:35am at PNBE.. later TT got changed and new departure was 17:30 from NDLS n new arrival at PNBE was 06:55am.. clearly it was a massive speedup of SK.. Poorva ke stops jyada the aur PNBE pe arrival bhi baad me tha ab so Overtake to schedule me hai since Nov 2005..
now SK n Poorva both has 130mps so i hope TT change hoga next time jab new Time Table layega IR..
may be after SK or just after 12260 SDAH Duronto... lets see
