Considering the large number of waitlisted passengers from both Bangalore and Hyderabad to Patna, shouldn't a Bi-weekly or Tri-weekly train be introduced covering both these IT cities via Gondia-Raipur-Bilaspur-Rourkela-Ranchi-Gaya to Patna. This will cover many important cities in Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Jharkhand as well as take around 40 hours which is 8 hours less than any other current Patna-Bangalore trains.

I agree with you but the route suggested by me covers newer stations and broadens the connectivity of Patna to Orissa, Chhattisgarh and unconnected areas of Maharashtra.
Another good aspect of using this route is avoiding an already congested MGS-ALD route which causes many trains, which are running on time, to get delayed once it enters these route. I myself have experienced several times when train reaches 'before time' at ALD but gets delayed by 2-3 hours on average by the time it reaches PNBE.
