Old delhi is really worst, nothing is better just only MC Donalds and those escalators on PF1
DLI is a nightmare; it's dirty and has been built in the most confusing manner possible.While NDLS has been maintained top notch, IR just overlooks the DLI station.
Division to DLI hai all stations come under it. NR ka headquarters aur itne bure halaat. Plus NR is max. revenue earning division in passenger segment. Still such mismanagement.
And it is national capital. It should be proud of india but nothing is here to be proud upon.
Old dli is one of the most ill maintained stn. Being close to chandini chowk it generates huge amt of work force and is hell lot jammed up. The pfs are also such that it's very confusing. The most probable reason is that dli caters more amount of passengers train such as memu,emu, normal pass trains as compared to ndls. Express trains are there but mostly served by local trains. I have been a DP from dli to palam for four years and this is my personal thinking. Moreover ndls being close and developing it to world standard has led to neglection of dli stn for sure.
