Now there is politics behind their rehabilitation and in the process railways is losing big time in getting the station back to normal.
The condition of tracks etc though is extremely good is what the railways say. Now with change of govt it will become more difficult with strong opposition by opposition parties

you can travel to Mars and come back but getting land in Kerala for development is next to impossible.
