Last friday i was travelling in PNBE - RNC JanSatabdi Express... I can say that its a very punctual and fastest train for ranchi and vice versa. Its a popular train for daily commuters. I think One more Jan Satabdi train to be inroduced from Patliputra to Ranchi via Danapur, Ara, Sasaram, Dehri on Son, daltonganj, Barwadih, Tori, Lohardaga, Ranchi.
It can be introduced when Tori - Lohardaga rail line which is going to started soon. Also till hat time one bypass line to be made in sasaram towards gaya and in Dehri while coming throgh gaya to go towards daltonganj. If at both places bypass line is made and Electrification is completed between Ara & Sasaram section. It will be

fully electrifed route towards ranchi which shorter route.

A very good route selection sir, although an intercity would more likely as Janshatabdis have not introduced!
The benefits of your suggested route would be great.
Although I have an even shorter route in mind which is already under construction!
PNBE-JHD-GAYA-KQR-HZME-BKRA-RNC!

finally electrification doesn't always guarantee good service, some of best serving routes are with diesel traction eg. THE KONKAN!
Anyway electrification of the RNC-TORI & RNC-KQR would take time because of terrain difficulties and many circular tracks passing adjointly to hills....
So don't let diesel traction dampen your spirit rather ask for an intercity via Koderma, Hazaribagh.
It would be a resounding success....

Sir the route which u suggested has already been implemented for freight service of coal and other minerals transportation and this route will complete after 4-5 yrs. even though passenger train if introduced not much profit can be gained by railway as only 3-4 impt stations are there. The route which i had suggested is already completed and some finishing works going on between Tori and Lohardaga. I am not too much favoring of electrified route but it surely takes less time and moreover less pollution in Jharkhand forest areas as i seen the beautiful view of train route. So Diesel train can be used in worst case. Whatever stations in my routes i suggested all are bigger stations and revenue generatos.

My route can be extended in future if needed till Chhapra or till Muzzafarpur because the route is shorter and Jansatabdi train can easily catch up the time restrictions.
