• South Eastern Railway (SER) on Friday announced two Durga Puja special weekly trains on Santragachi-Gondia, via Tatanagar, and Tatanagar-Durg routes much in advance.
• The 18-coach Santragachi-Gondia special train will start from October 3. The Up train will leave Satragachi every Monday at 2.50pm and reach Tatanagar at 6.10pm. It will halt for five minutes. The train will reach Gondia in Maharashtra on Tuesday at 6.05am. It will halt at Kharagpur, Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Raigarh, Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg and Rajnandgaon.

Garden Reach, however, said the train would leave Tatanagar every Tuesday, October 4, onwards and return from Durg every Wednesday. This train will make nine trips till November 30 and halt at Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Raigarh, Bilaspur and Raipur.
I guess this is the first time such specials being started by SER.
