Yes it's present in most of WAP-7 locos but the connections for HOG are provided through these ports only in HOG capable loco.

So you need to check the back side of loco whether the HOG couplers are coupled with coaches or not?

No need,just look for window on red strip to confirm wether loco is hog enabled!
