A query to rail members of Bangalore. Few days back I happened to take a bus which was going towards Lingarajapuram. Just before approaching Lingarajapuram, there was a rail overbridge and i could also see a railway station below not far from it ? The section was a single line section.
Which railway station is it ? Is it Banaswadi or some other station ?

Its Banaswadi station... on the right side based on ur bus direction- line gets separated 1) towards HSRA/SA(left side) and 2) BYPL/KJM(right side).
And after few kms YPR/SBC-KJM lines passes/crosses under the YPR-HSRA/SA line.
Pic 1) Line from SBC/YPR(merging at BYPL) gettng separated Left(YNK Side) and right double line(towards KJM) under YPR-HSRA route
Pic 2) A line from SBC merging with YPR-HSRA line...

Thanks. So this means that if i get down at Banaswadi, to come to this road/flyover, it is only walkable distance ?? I had earlier heard that bus stops etc are not near to Banaswadi station. One needs to walk a fair distance to come to the main road or take an auto. But this time I could see that there is a bus stop immediately after the overbridge and one does get buses to Shivajinagar & Majestic.
distance between banaswadi station to the road/flyover is around 700mtrs..yes the bus stop is slightly far..the station is actually located in between two bus stops.. the stop what your taking about that is after the flyover its around 1.3 kms atleast from the banaswadi station.
