Archana Express runs between Patna and Jammu via Rae Bareli - Saharanpur so IR is getting LHB orders from ECR's Danapur Division. I just hope that ER too places orders for LHB Rakes for trains like Howrah - Amritsar Mail, Akal Takht Express, Durgiana Express and Jallianwalabagh (SDAH-ASR) Express. I wish for LHB travel from Calcutta to Punjab. Many Delhi bound trains from Calcutta have already got LHB Rakes :)
Acc to me Himgiri deserves LHBs atmost...... its rake is pathetic.....n too stinky to smelly.....old rake....but train gets superb response.....so It deserves LHB.....and Durgiana second option that train is superb.....
It can be noticed that not a single train from Eastern Railways has been launched since the NDA Govt has come to power. Mr. Suresh Prabhu has only inaugurated 2 LHB Rake Fully AC trains for South Eastern Railways a few months back. The last time I heard about an ER train getting LHBfied was the Howrah - Anand Vihar Bi-Weekly Superfast Express. I just wish that IR experiments with the Durgiana Express by speeding it up and making the total journey time between Calcutta and Ludhiana/Jalandhar in 24 Hours. It's possible by shifting the train's ER terminal from Kolkata Chitpur (KOAA) to Howrah (HWH), removing Parasnath Halt and boosting it's MPS on various sections through track renewal work and LHBfying it's rake. I think that 130 Kmph is possible at least between Durgapur and Mughalsarai via Dhanbad - Gaya. If not a Pantry then at least a Buffet Car is...

Brother actually I give suggestion to Indian Railway to replace the rake of Archana Express with lhb as rake is too old though maintained n clean and second to interlock thee C57 E2 gate near Kartarpur District Jalandhar....both the works are in progress....can it be response to my conplaint????? I think its response to my complaint the gatemen said....so uhh can also gice suggestion about it......for JB express....and LHB for Durgiana and Himgiri and speeding them up with raised MPS of 130kmh......
I've told SDAH Div about 12357's LHBfication on Twitter but they say that this decision isn't in the hands of the Zonal Railways. Then I tagged RailMinIndia and ER profile but they tweeted back the usual response of conveying the message to so and so Twitter profile (Rly Board, etc) ... -_-
