Interest/ returns in financial saving is hardly equal to the rate of inflation (esp. of edible and other necessary items for day today consumption) i.e. hardly any increase in real terms.
With lower interest rates (especially when compared to inflation), Industries are growing and performing well the assets of top 1% population of country is growing much faster than the national avg. Financial savings are no longer attractive as it used to be 10-20 years back.
