Dj.Railfan1982~ 4047 blog postsIt was a hectic jorney. I started from my friend's residence at Bahadurgarh at 1600 Hrs. They told me Bahadurgarh-New Delhi Railway Station Greenline service takes around 90 mins to reach NDLS. But the traffic was absolute crazy. The bus reached NDLS at 1900 Hrs [ It started at 1630 from Bahadurgarh]. Then came the drama of Railway police. They sealed almost every entrance of the station and kept only 2 points open with hell of a queue. After everything, reached platform no 10 at 1925 and found that the train was already placed
It started bang at 1940 hours. I was awake till the train reached Kanpur. it never ran like a DURONTO, rather it was running like an ordinary express...

The TT of this train is such that when it departs ndls there is a hell mad of traffic upto gzb from all sides ie dli and ndls side. Moreover once it enters ncr from cpyz it never picks up speed till aljn and crosses tdl around 23:00 hrs. Not to mention whatever status it is having ( duronto)it is trolled by 12560 upto cnb and sometimes upto ald. Once late to cnb it gets delayed enroute. The good run is only between mgs- gaya. If it runs in RAJDHANI gang it will be best but departure from ndls is such that it can't adjust a single train in RAJDHANI time.
When I travelled in this train during summer it covered mgs- dos in flat 58 mins. With a sl berth and train ripping past stns at flat 130 mps was simply mind blowing. It never slowed down until dos bridge
My brother reached approx 3:30 mins late when he travelled to dhn last month. He also said good catering can be compromised for punctuality as served by 12302,12314 as 12260 is never on time
2nd pic of Duronto which I used last time also had a 20 min. late start. Result was disastrous
