Which time do you like to travel a distance of 400 kms or more by a train ?
Morning since that is the best time for Railfanning. Though normal people prefer overnight trains since they fit well in the ~400 km.
In the morning, Railfanning is also great. But I mean morning, I mean between 3-6am. Varieties of locos can be seen.
Night time is only good for sleeping. Morning (6:00 am- 9:30 am) is the best time for rail fanning. Travelling during daytime is tiring and can reduce tiredness by travelling in CC or EX. Most of the people prefer night travel while travelling 400 km or more.
Depends on the type of route and zone... If NFR then in Morning... If CNB-ALD-MGS then at night..
