May be but his route also good. they can run as special so they can take a decision soon.
If at all IR decides to run train then destination will be ru/tpty
Evan I too agree with this, IR has already planned and did survey between Dupadu-Krishnammakona to connect GTL-GNT and SC-DHNE route which is 35 kms route. This is already notified by APIIC and called tenders for this route. In collaboration with Central and state funds this route will be laid. With the extent of this route, the journey towards KADAPA from SC will reduces by 115 kms.
Brother, i too had in nandyal for more than 4 years, it s town of population around 2 lakhs and it formed as Municipality in 1899 not in 1875. The OR for busses going to hyderabad is not upto the mark that's why it is in losses. dhone - guntur route is driven for freight traffic between Orissa, TATAnagar to bellary and kadapa districts (coal and other minerals) but not for passenger services. Now due to vijayawada become capital of AP there is chances of increasing passenger trains to capital from kadapa, anantapur. No more trains will be introduced to Hyderabad from AP at any cost.
