yet another good news for JBP jn. as work of new line b/w Ambikapur-chirmiri-Barwadih is going on and official completion date is dec 2017 so once this route get completed then Mumbai-HWH route distance will be reduced to 1700 kms only via ET-JBP-Ambikapur-Barvadih-HWH and then most of the trains will run thru this shortest Mumbai-HWH route and it will boost the traffic in JBP and JBP will become a great jn. like ET/NGP so currently work is going on at a much fair pace and hopefully will be completed...

by dec 2017 and in the recent visit to JBP RM told the people n political leaders that soon mumbai-HWH trains will be going thru this shortest route by 2018 and again then various luxury n sf/mail/duranto/humsafar/antyodaya trains will use the route via JBP to reach HWH/Mumbai to save time and resources so 2018 year will proved to be golden year for HQ of WCR JBP jn. because many projects are intend to complete in this year and which will boost imp. of JBP on IR map more precisivly and following are the different projects intend to complete in 2018-
1-JBP-BTC-G BG project > it will boost south going trains via JBP becoz it will become the shortest route to go south via BTC-G-BPQ
2-ET-JBP-KTE-COI electrification project> IT will increase running time and punctuality and speed of trains and power change problems will be solved
3-Ambikapur-Chirimiri-Barvadih BG project> It will become the only shortest route b/w Mumbai-HWH-Mumbai bound trains and most trains will go via ET-JBP-KTE-Ambikapur-HWH route to reach HWH or further
