Why do few trains runs on diesel loco in an electrified route. why cant changeover of engines happen at the point where electric route ends .

What a horrible document this is BUT as we say that Truth is always Sour . So , Electric Locos are thermal pollutants at times and diesel locos are air polluters . Thus , the conclusion is that IR Trains should use Bio - Diesel Locos on selected Non - Electrified Routes and more Hydro Power Plants should be set up in India for the facilitation of running Electric Locos . Many of the existing Thermal Power Plants should also be replaced by Hydro Power Plants . If Bio - Fossil Plants are not much grown everywhere by IR on it's property in India , then IR should tell DLW , Varanasi to manufacture Pollution Free Diesel Locos...
