First of all I want to clear that alphabet ( ळ ) is not of Marathi language, its of Devnagri language.
In Rajasthan state of India people use alphabet ( ळ ) in place of alphabet ( L) when it comes at the end of word.
i.e for Daal or दाल, Rajasthani use दाळ.
