The Adilabad unit of Lok Satta has demanded re-routing the 22817/18 Howrah-Mysore Express train and 22404/05 New Delhi-Puducheri weekly via Adilabad as originally scheduled.Lok Satta leaders criticised the Railway Ministry for diverting these trains on other routes depriving the backward district of development. Lok Satta president S. Rajashekhar and RTI activist S.P. Pataskar have taken up the issue with the Railway authorities.They said the Howrah-Mysore train was announced by the Railway Minister in his Budget speech only to be diverted via Visakhapatnam.
