Keeping surge pricing aside, Godavari has always been the first priority train for common pax. Yes, surge pricing has played its part in shifting passengers choice from duro to Godavari and GR. Prior to surge pricing there used to be few odd number of seats available in current during weekdays in Godavari but now it is getting filled. Even lot of bookings happening in GR in current booking.
Yeah. Even I came across an article. But it stated that "Railways will reconsider the surge pricing decision". Officially there is no statement regarding withdrawing the decision.
