is there any difference to operate the engine with front panto instead of back panto???
Yeah.
To avoid any risk of fire or damage to Pantograph due to presence of frost or any particle that may work like an insulator for the system. If front panto is raised, it pushes those matter without much effort, but in case of rear one, it will keep dragging along that, with high risk of damage.
