As far as i know, ICF coaches cannot be coupled to LHB as both hav different coupling system. So are there special type of locos present in IR to haul LHB trains or same loco is capable of hauling both ICF and LHB rake? If yes then how? When LHB cannot be coupled with ICF rake then how same loco can be coupled with both LHB and ICF?

All locos have both CBC as well as screw coupling. when it hauls a LHB rake then CBC coupling is done whereas with ICF rake screw coupler is used. See the attached pic where you will observe both CBC & Screw coupler in a WAP-4 & WDP-4 locomotive.
Loco can couple with both conventional as well as LHB coaches. Locos are equipped with both type of coupling.
Loco has both coupling CBC as well as screw coupling ..so no prib
There is also something called as top operated CBC.RDSO has mandated the modification in all electric locos. The need for top operated CBC was the damage to the operating handle in case of cattle runover and difficulty operating the handle from platform side. WAGx,WAP5/7 and diesels already have them. The side operated CBC is present only in WAP1/4 and WAM4. Of late, even these locos are being retrofitted with top operated CBC.
