I was doing this transaction from a New Computer (Which is normally don’t use to access ICICI bank Net Banking); so as a enhanced Security Measure ICICI asked for OTP (One Time Password) before login to ICICI Online account for payment processing.
By default the SMS with OTP is sent by ICICI on registered mobile but it normally takes more than 10 minutes. So, I had to send a SMS to ICICI to get the OTP within 01 min.
But, in this whole process of OTP generation the precious time was lost and the remaining 22 tickets (out of total 64) were gone and I managed to get CKWL /1 & CKWL /2 @ 08:13 hrs.
Before trying to make payment thru this option, I should have accessed ICICI Net banking on this new computer. As this would have helped saving time. So, I advice novices like me to keep this is mind before making TATKAL E Ticket bookings.
Wish that senior members or admin share Tips, Secrets and past blogs regarding TATKAL E Ticket booking…
