In my view, the sole reason of trains getting delayed in the GZB-CNB-ALD-MGS section this year is not fog. 12424 NDLS DBRT Rajdhani was at Bhaupur at 21:04 today. It reached Kanpur by 22:13. Around 70 minutes for 22km.
If I am not wrong, they have not at all compromised on freight traffic, this year due to revenue loss and its current financial position. This is what is causing much congestion.
