All the Metro Railway lines in our India have to be erected as Over Head Elevated Structure in the central meridian of the road or River bund ( as in the case of Chennai and Pune ) wherever possible over the huge costly Under Ground Structure .

OHES of Rail Projects give elegance to the city and the costly land acquaintances are avoided.Any Land acquisition in Metropolis / cities delayed the project implementation to 2 to 3 decades and cost increases tremendously.

( example..Chennai Metro last lap of Velacherry to St.Thomas Mount stretches are delayed for more than two decades and yet to be completed.
UGS increases the cost of the projects tremendously and maintenance cost and so these factors increases the fares of the journey to the public.
So the viability of the Metro Rail Projects also questionable one .So the failure of the projects cost the central exchequer.
