I am planning to board 56241 from heelalige station to reach hosur and board train#17235.
Generally, how rush this train is during friday evening/festival holidays? Any regular travelers?

Yes - rush. Mostly standing only. Lots of freeloaders travelling back to Hosur, DPJ, SA.

Actually from your post I gather, u need to travel by 56242 from HLE to HSRA isn't it? And then board 17235.

Yes you will be able to stand. Because this is not the HSRA DEMU. In DEMU standing space is less. But this a passenger, you will be able to get some space to stand. Just half an hour journey, so no problem.

Also my advice would be - not to depend on this train. This train has rake sharing with Nelamangala-SBC passenger. Many (most) of the times its late. Its sometimes so late that its terminated at YPR itself and sent towards Salem. So I think better to go by bus to Hosur and then by 17235 than by 56242.
