I BOOKED TICKET FROM CHENNAI TO JALGAON FOR 14/02/2010 , THEN I CHANGED BORDING GUDUR IN PLACE OF CHENNAI, ON 14/02/2010 I WAITED TO CONFIRM TICKET BUT NOT CONFIRMED SO HAVE TO CANCEL THE TICKET , ON WINDOW TICKET WAS MANNUALLY CANACLED AND SIGN WAS TAKEN ON BLANK PAPER AND DEDUCTED RS 1700.00, IS IT FARE.
Can you please provide further details like class of travel, number of passengers, date of cancellation, etc
If ticket is not confirmed, you are entitled to full refund minus nominal amount of say Rs. 20/- towards clerkage charges. Plz confirm whether ticket not confirmed or under RAC status. Did you not enquire why signature on blank paper ? Is it blank paper or printed cancellation slip form ? If blank paper, then did you protest for ? What was the reply of the officer there ? How many tickets you cancelled and under which class ? Post full details of the incidence for correct guidance.
